Cynthia Albright

Cynthia is a problem solver. With 30 years of experience managing award-winning projects, she has built a reputation as a cutting-edge urban planner and designer. Recently named as a Fellow in the American Institute of Certified Planners, she specializes in using location-based data to create transportation implementation master plans that link population movements to mobility services. Her expertise includes community plans, sustainability plans, growth management plans, site development, and urban revitalization. Her keen ability to decipher complex data and synthesize its meaning has earned her several distinguished honors such as the 2019 Gold American Planning Association National Planning Achievement Award for Transportation, the 2019 DeBoer Outstanding Plan Award, and the 2018 Distinguished Professional Planner from the State of Nevada American Planning Association, and many others. Her transportation planning work was featured in Planning Magazine, May 2019, and her 2018 TEDx University of Nevada Reno talk on the importance of quality streetscapes, “The Pearls of Urban Design” is available on YouTube. She is an expert in ArcGIS software, and one of 47 certified urban designers from the American Institute of Certified Planners in the US.
